Description

Susan Gansei tells stories with tapestry.

“My life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue An everlasting vision of the ever-changing view” - Carole King, “Tapestry”

Like may artists, local artist, Susan Gangsei derives personal benefits from her art as a creative outlet, a meditation opportunity, and a way to speak out about social issues. With her most recent series of work, Susan Gangsei focusses on ageing, ultimately using tapestry to feature the beauty, strength, and wisdom of ageing women.

Susan’s works have been on exhibit at the Minneapolis Convention Center and she is the Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts artist in residence.
